Learn about Street-Photography.Net
Street-Photography.Net is a global community created by street photographers, for street photographers. Co-founded by David Castillo in New York and Michael Wayne Plant in London, the platform was born from a shared vision: to inspire, support, and connect photographers who are passionate about documenting life.
Our mission for this platform is a belief in truth through the lens and to cultivate an inclusive environment where people can come together to exchange ideas, share their work, and grow through a mutual love of street photography.
Street-Photography.Net is space for learning, thoughtful discussion, and meaningful reflection. We celebrate authenticity, visual storytelling, and the power of observing the world as it unfolds around us. Topics, explored will range from analog and digital practices, to profiles of influential photographers, past and present. Along with essays, examining the impact of street photography today.
As we continue to grow, we invite you to be a part of this community. Whether you’re a photographer, looking to share your work, a writer with a passion for the genre, or simply someone who loves the rhythm and spontaneity of street photography.
We’re currently seeking collaborators! If you’re interested in writing, researching, or contributing in any way to the exploration of street photography, we’d love to hear from you. Get in touch at: editor@street-photography.net
