Le Palais de Tokyo is a very hip museum in Paris. The exhibitions are usually rather small (a few rooms, but within a huge space) and very innovative with avant garde artists offering interesting installations.
But, many people who come to visit don’t even bother getting inside the exhibitions :in the lobby of Palais de Tokyo, the book shop and the accessories shop are very popular too. Graphists, photographers and painters love to spend the afternoon there. It is cool and arty to be seen there, and this group of hip girls, toying with some expensive pencils, knows it well…

The three stooges
I guess this one doesn’t really need my comments, so I will just let the picture speak.

Back to school
Art students are the best, the way they dress, their artistic accessories, the way they sit on the floor together like we don’t care and start drawing something you can hardly figure out. It’s all in the attitude, something they oftently don’t really master yet fortunatly, so it gives them an even greater charm. You can’t miss them in Paris, especially around the latin corner and on the streets near les Halles. One thing we have in common is for sure, wether with a pencil or a camera, we love/hate this city so much ! Black and white paradox.
Paris, Montorgueil (Leica m8, Summilux 35mm asph, f/1.4, 1/1000, iso 160, afternoon)
The letter to Elise

The sexy city
So on the next days, I will be posting pictures taken during my recent hollidays.
And I would like to start with this small serie…
To give praise to what makes this city a constant pleasure to explore.
Everywhere you look, they’re all you see.
The beautiful girls.
Dalmates and tourists…
For the next posts, they will be taking you to Dubrovnik and other cities. Welcome to Croatia.
